Thomas : Stevenson was established in January 2004 by Neil Thomas and Paul Stevenson, two well known Chartered Surveyors within the North East commercial property industry.
Focusing on Commercial Property Consultancy Thomas : Stevenson primarily deal with shops, offices, industrial property and land. Our team has over 40 years combined experience at a senior level and specialises in the Teesside, North Yorkshire and wider north east commercial property markets.
We have a proven track record in all aspects of the commercial property market including Sales & Lettings, Acquisitions, Investment Property, Valuations, Rent Reviews & Lease Renewals, Property Management, Property Development and Compulsory Purchase Negotiations.

Paul graduated with an Honours Degree from Trent Polytechnic (Nottingham Trent University) in 1990 before joining Sanderson Weatherall, Middlesbrough where he qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 1992. Paul deals with all aspects of commercial property advice with a focus on sales, lettings & acquisitions, property investment, property development and compulsory purchase.

Neil graduated with an Honours Degree from Newcastle Polytechnic (Northumbria University) in 1991 before joining Dodds Brown Commercial, Middlesbrough where he qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 1994. Neil deals with all aspects of commercial property advice with a focus on rent reviews, lease renewals and Independent Expert work. A qualified Arbitrator and Expert Neil deals with predominantly professional work.

Richard Stevenson

Richard graduated with an Honours Degree from Nottingham Trent University in 1995 and joined the Teesside office of Storey Sons and Parker. Richard qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 1996. He ultimately held responsibility for the running of the Teesside office. Richard joined Thomas : Stevenson in 2014 and focuses on valuations, landlord and tenant matters (he is retained by Sainsburys to advise them on their portfolio of convenience stores in the north east).

Morag Lumb
Morag joined Thomas Stevenson in 2015 to further supplement the property management team. Morag joined following a career in banking with NatWest Bank, during this she has built up a wealth of experience in a customer focus role dealing with businesses in the commercial banking division.

Jack Robinson
Jack joined Thomas: Stevenson in November 2021, having worked in the commercial surveying department at Robertson Simpson on Teesside. Jack is currently working towards his APC and Chartered Surveying status via the RICS and works in the agency and valuation department across a broad range of property issues.
